It is the annual water festival of Thailand. It starts on 13th April and continues till 15th April. During this festival, people gather with friends and family members in the streets, participate in water fights and celebrate the event together. Traditional parades take place. In some areas, “Miss Songkran” or “Lady Songkran” is crowned. People wear traditional Thai dress on this day.
